Electra 0.1 - Demo

Let's solve a simple exercise in electrostatics using Electra! Suppose you have placed two charges: Q1=8x10-9C and Q2=6x10-9C respectively at coordinates Q1=(-1,0) and Q2=(0,0), measured in meters. What are the electric field components in the point of coordinates (0,1)? Try to solve this on paper, then check the results loading exercise.elk with Electra. Select the Comp or Draw states and then click with the mouse when the cursor is over point (0,1). The result is about (25.42, 79.34) as you can see from the image below.

Ever wondered what the force lines around a parallel plate finite condenser look like? Just load Demo/Continuous distributions/Parallel-plate condenser and click the Draw button to see:

Here you can download Electra version 0.1.
